Barack Obama's
slick campaign slogan, 'Change we can believe in' is nothing more
than empty words because his "vision" is an old, worn out, failed
one. Perhaps all these "progressives" need eye glasses to see
reality, instead of these silly slogans that mean nothing. Popular
play list from the past:
1992 Bill
Clinton: Don't stop thinking about tomorrow; 1992 Bill Clinton:
Putting People First 1996 Bill Clinton: Building a bridge to the
21st century; 1996 Bob Dole: The Better Man for a Better America
2000 Al Gore:
Prosperity and progress; 2000 Al Gore: Prosperity for America's
families
2000 George W.
Bush: Compassionate conservatism; 2000 George W. Bush: Reformer with
results
2004 John
Kerry: Let America be America Again; 2004 George W. Bush: Yes,
America Can!
Did any
of the clever word smithing above make one bit of difference in
what's happened in this country the past 15 years? Marxist Bill
Clinton
unconstitutionally invaded and bombed Kosovo
based on lies, the national debt continued to grow, social security
continued to go broke because it can't be saved and contrary to all
his promises, he didn't save it for the old folks. Bush's campaign
promises meant nothing. He has taken us into more unconstitutional
wars based on lies. He hasn't saved social security while the
national debt continues to grow. There's no money in the people's
treasury, but Congress under Clinton and Bush have spent our
children's future into nothing but mind-numbing debt. Flip Romney's
slogan is 'True strength for America's future.' It means nothing.
Why? Because these incumbents and candidates know nothing about the
U.S. Constitution or simply choose to ignore it for bigger
government and more votes.
I would
love to debate Obama on the issues. He doesn't even know our legal
form of government, always pushing the
failure of democracy:
Fisher Ames, a
founding father said "A democracy is a volcano which conceals the
fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an
eruption and carry desolation in their way." Benjamin Rush said; "A
simple democracy is the devil's own government." John Adams said;
"Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and
murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit
suicide." James Madison, called the Father of the Constitution:
"Democracy is the most vile form of government... democracies have
ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been
found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property:
and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been
violent in their deaths."
Has Obama
told his supporters that social security can't be "saved," that you
are not required to have an SSN to live or work in the U.S.,
but will be taxed for this taxing scheme even if you
choose never to enter the system? It's called indentured
servitude and apparently Obama wants his supporters to remain little
better than slaves. Has he proposed getting rid of the
scam called withholding,
which would benefit the middle class, the poor and create jobs? No.
Has he proposed to
eliminate taxes on tips
for service workers across this country which would benefit those
who need it the most? No. Has he told his supporters the truth about
health care: the Constitution forbids any universal or national
health care scheme? No. His so called solutions to education, just
like Clinton, Edwards and the others, represent the same old failed
"solutions" force fed down America's throat for the past 40 years.
More trillions for education will accomplish nothing.
As for Obama's
position on the unconstitutional invasion of Iraq, his statements
one day before the Democratic National Convention are a real eye
opener:
Obama says war to decide election
July 27, 2004
"Boston -
Barack Obama, who will deliver the keynote address at the Democratic
National Convention, said Monday that he believes the Iraq war will
be the deciding factor in the presidential contest, but that he does
not think there is a great difference "on paper" between presumptive
Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry and President Bush on the
issue...On Iraq, on paper, there's not as much difference, I
think, between the Bush administration and a Kerry administration
as there would have been a year ago," Obama said during a luncheon
meeting with editors and reporters of Tribune newspapers. "There's
not that much difference between my position and George Bush's
position at this stage. The difference, in my mind, is who's in a
position to execute."
Fast forward to April, 2007:
"ABC News'
Jonathan Greenberger Reports: In what may be a blow to his support
among the anti-war left, the Associated Press is reporting
that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., says that if President Bush vetoes
the war funding bill because of its timetable for troop withdrawal
from Iraq, the Congress will then swiftly provide the president with
another version that lacks such a provision.
"Already, Obama
is taking heat for his remarks from some of the anti-war left, which
is a key constituency for his campaign. Influential liberal blogger
Markos Moulitsas wrote on Daily Kos that he wishes Obama's comments
were an April Fool's Joke. "What a ridiculous thing to say. Not only
is it bad policy, not only is it bad politics, it's also a terrible
negotiating approach," wrote Moulitsas. "Obama just surrendered to
Bush."
Obama
Says It:
No War Funding Without Withdrawal Timetable
September 17, 2007
"At Tom
Harkin's annual steak fry in Iowa yesterday, Barack Obama finally
said what many on the left have been waiting to hear: That he will
only support future war funding measures that contain a timetable
for withdrawal."
Congress ramps up Iraq, Afghanistan spending
December 14, 2007
Washington -
The Democratic-led Congress authorized more Iraq war spending on
Friday, sending President Bush a defense bill requiring no change
in strategy after failing again to impose a timetable for U.S. troop
withdrawals. The defense policy bill, approved 90-3 by the
Senate, also expanded the size of the U.S. Army and set conditions
on the Bush administration's plan to build a missile defense system
in Europe. The measure already had passed the House and now goes to
Bush, who is expected to sign it into law. It authorizes Pentagon
programs expected to cost $506.9 billion during fiscal 2008, which
began in October."
How
convenient that the two of the so-called 'top tier' Democrat
candidates weren't available to vote on that bill.
No vote cast:
Obama, Biden, Clinton. Please remember there is a difference between
a nay vote and a no vote. As far as I could tell, Obama was on the
road with queen of gab, Oprah, and missed this important vote.
Marxist Hillary Clinton was in Iowa trying to convince voters that
she has bigger marbles than the other boys; how very convenient she
also missed this critical vote. But, it saves her the effort of
trying to figure out how to
flip flop yet again
her position on the unconstitutional invasion of Iraq. I'm sure
Obama, Biden and Clinton's constituents appreciate such fine
representation from their public servants.
Here is what
that vote on December 14, 2007, promises more of from both Democrats
and Republicans in the U.S. Senate (Keep in mind The Boston Globe
just endorsed pro-war monger John McCain who was also a no vote).
While these candidates were out campaigning and didn't vote that
day, two new coffins will be added to the thousands.
Arlington
National Cemetery at Christmas
There is
NO money in the U.S. Treasury. It is over drawn more than $9
TRILLION dollars. Every penny of that defense bill will have to be
borrowed from the privately owned "Federal" Reserve. The immoral
interest will be piled on the back of your children and grand
children so that their lives, their future, will be nothing more
than oxen under the yoke. And what is all that money going to buy?
How about more of this:
US Paid $32M For Iraqi Base Never Built
and $1
BILLION in Military Equipment Missing In Iraq.
Let's not forget these
war profiteers contractors
like Halliburton paid tens of BILLIONS of borrowed dollars. Now we
have
rapes to deal with
and
Blackwater Slaughter In Baghdad 'A Horror
Movie' - all paid for by the sweat
off your back.
Let's not
forget how we "liberated" the people of Iraq with this invasion: "After
the invasion of Iraq, the US
government claimed that women there had "new rights and new hopes."
In fact their lives have become immeasurably worse, with rapes,
burnings and murders now a daily occurrence: Even under Saddam,
women in Iraq - including in semi-autonomous Kurdistan - were widely
recognised as among the most liberated in the Middle East. They held
important positions in business, education and the public sector,
and their rights were protected by a statutory family law that was
the envy of women's activists in neighbouring countries. But since
the 2003 invasion, advances that took 50 years to establish are
crumbling away. In much of the country, women can only now move
around with a male escort. Rape is committed habitually by all the
main armed groups, including those linked to the government. Women
are being murdered throughout Iraq in unprecedented numbers."
Not one
of these candidates has told their constituents or voters on the
campaign trail the truth about the economy other than clever
rhetoric. As a matter of fact, on Obama's official web site, 'Issues'
page, there is no mention of his
solution to the looming financial tsunami, just his "innovative"
ideas that aren't worth the cyber space used to hawk them.
I've
spent the last 18 long years learning how government systems
actually work versus the lies told the American people by slick
politicians like Willard Romney, John McCain,
Marxist Hillary Clinton,
Barack Obama,
Mike Huckabee,
John Edwards,
Rudy Julie Annie, Freddy Thompson, etc., the exception being
Congressman Ron Paul. While I'm not known as a sesquipedalian, my
columns are long because I'm trying to help Americans understand the
issues based on the facts, not political hype and false hopes. Tens
of millions care nothing for the U.S. Constitution or the rule of
law, only what mother government can give them and that is a sad
fact. They have been weaned onto government dependency and know
nothing else but government programs that got them into bondage to
begin with. However, tens of millions of Americans do care and they
want the truth.
Polls are now
indicating that Americans are most worried about the (1) economy;
(2) the illegals invasion, and (3) the undeclared war in Iraq. If
you would like to learn the truth about some of these issues, I
would invite you to set aside reading time and get to it.

Dr. Edwin
Vieira wrote a critical column recently
that every American needs to read.
I have written so many columns on the economy and what you're seeing
right now with the sub prime melt down is just the tip of the ice
berg, because it's about to hit the states and local municipalities
hard. By next summer more than a MILLION homes will go into
foreclosure and all these
bail outs and Band Aids by Congress
is not going to stop what is going to shock many Americans. Obama's
"change we can believe in" is just more empty words. I highly
recommend you diversify some of your assets into gold like the big
boys because what's coming isn't going to be pretty; you can call
Harvey Gordin at El Dorado Gold (602.228.8203) and allow him to give
you some good advice.
Americans said
they wanted change in 1992. Nothing changed, it got worse. Americans
said they were fed up in 2006 and wanted change. Nothing has changed
and it's going to get ugly. Only a return to constitutional
government will restore this republic and that won't happen until
Americans stop listening to empty election promises, get educated on
the issues and throw out incumbents from county commissioners to the
White House. And, even though millions do want to do just that, it
won't happen until ALL electronic ballot machines are
eliminated and we return to hand marked ballots, counted by hand in
front of the public, in the precincts before they go to the county
clerk.
